FeedMyOwl is a minimalist RSS and Atom reader built around one question: does this help you read better, or does it distract you?
Core Principles
- No unread counts, badges, or urgency mechanics.
- No push notifications; refresh is always user-driven.
- No social layer, reactions, or recommendation loops.
- Typography and whitespace are treated as product features.
How To Use FeedMyOwl
- Add your feed subscriptions.
- Press refresh when you want new entries.
- Use search or keyboard shortcuts to move through articles quickly.
Article search
Search is always available at the top of the article list pane in the feeds workspace. It is global across loaded articles, even if a folder or feed scope is selected.
- Type at least 2 characters to activate fuzzy matching.
- Results are ranked by relevance, then recency.
- The list shows up to the top 50 matches.
- Matched text is highlighted in article and feed titles.
Keyboard shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts are available in the feeds workspace on desktop and tablet. Shortcuts are disabled on mobile layout and while typing in a text field.
